Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 Review
Bajaj Motors' best-performance motorbike category has always been the Pulsar line of motorcycles. The series has grown over time, beginning with the classic Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 twins in 2001, with several class-leading features being incorporated. The Pulsar 200 NS is no exception since it is a product that arose from the collaboration with KTM and is thus the flagship of the Pulsar line. Bajaj claims it is the most sophisticated Pulsar yet, and they are not kidding. However, Bajaj disputes that the NS shares any components with the KTM Duke 200.
The Pulsar 200 NS's engine is a 199.5 cc, 4 strokes SOHC liquid-cooled triple spark unit with bore X stroke dimensions of 72 mm X 49 mm and is a powerful single-cylinder machine with 4 valves. Even though it is not fuel injected, it produces a good 23.52 PS of power at 9500 rpm and 18.3 NM of torque at 8000 rpm.
The powerful engine sends power to the chain drive through a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. Bajaj has kept carburetors rather than gasoline ignition, which helps with power delivery slightly. While the engine is weak compared to the KTM unit, it is far smoother and more powerful than preceding Pulsar engines. The centrally positioned midship exhaust with ExhaustTEC technology improves engine performance by decreasing back pressure and giving the bike a harsh exhaust noise.
